Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Questions about in home care, funding, and getting started? We've answered the ones we hear most.
Who will be involved in my care?
That depends on your needs. Most clients have regular care workers for day-to-day support, a coordinator who organises scheduling and reviews, and a Registered Nurse who oversees the care plan and any clinical needs such as medication or wound care.
Are DANS team members experienced?
Yes. DANS care is overseen by experienced Registered Nurses, and our care workers are trained, screened and supported by that clinical team. Many of our staff have worked in care across the Central West and Western NSW for years and know the communities they visit.
Will I see the same care team regularly?
Where possible, yes. DANS rosters a small, consistent team for each client so you are not meeting someone new at every visit. Consistency depends on your location and schedule, but it is a deliberate part of how we plan care.
