Disability care and support within your own home
Disability care that creates the necessary support at home for quality care outcomes. Experienced and reliable care at home, delivered across the Central West and Western NSW.

Where ability feels at home: disability care for greater independence at home and in your community
We take the time to understand what matters to you - your routines, your preferences, and the way you want to live day-to-day. From there, we shape support that feels natural, not clinical or restrictive.
Whether it’s help at home, support out in the community, or more complex care needs, our team works alongside you and adjusts care as your needs and goals change.
Disability support that fits your everyday routine

Frequently Asked Questions (Disability Care)
Questions about in-home care, funding, and getting started? We've answered the ones we hear most.
What disability care does DANS provide?
DANS provides in-home disability support across Central West and Western NSW, including personal care, help with daily living, community access, transport and nurse-led clinical care. Support is delivered in your home and community - DANS is not a residential service. See all services.
Can DANS support NDIS participants?
Yes. DANS supports NDIS participants with services that match their plan and goals, most commonly under Assistance with Daily Life. We work with agency-managed, plan-managed and self-managed funding - learn more on our NDIS page.
Can disability care be tailored to my goals?
Yes. Your goals set the plan - building independence with daily routines, getting to work, study or community activities, or staying in your own home. Support is reviewed against those goals and adjusted as they change.
What is private disability care?
Private disability care is in-home support you arrange and pay for directly, without NDIS or other funding approval. There is no eligibility test or waiting period - you choose the services and hours, and DANS publishes set prices so you know the cost upfront.
When might private disability care be helpful?
Private disability care helps while you wait for an NDIS plan or review, when your plan does not cover everything you need, when you are not NDIS-eligible, or when you prefer to organise support directly.
Can private disability care work alongside funded care?
Yes. Many clients combine funded supports with privately paid hours - for example NDIS-funded personal care plus private domestic help or extra community access. DANS can structure the two side by side so nothing overlaps or is double-billed. Contact us to talk it through.
