How do I get started with DANS?
Call DANS or send an enquiry through our care assessment form. We will ask about your needs, your town and any funding you already have - Support at Home, NDIS, DVA or private. If you have not been assessed yet, we can point you to the right starting point, including My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.

How do I know what type of care I need?
Start with a conversation. DANS will ask about daily routines, health, mobility and what has changed recently, then suggest the right mix from our services - personal care, nursing, transport, domestic help or in-home respite. You do not need to know the answer before you call.
Can DANS help my loved one stay at home?
Yes. Keeping people at home is what DANS does - we provide in-home care, not residential aged care. With the right support in place, most people can stay safe and independent in their own home and avoid or delay a move into a facility.
